3 Things to Know Before Your First M7: PWR Ride Class

Imagine having the opportunity to hit both cardio and strength training in a single 45-minute class. This is what you’ll find in the hottest fusion format to hit In-Shape’s Studio Fitness schedule – M7: PWR Ride. This new format includes short cardio focused intervals on the bike and short strength focused intervals using dumbbells off the bike.

Before making your first reservation, here are 3 things every new participant should know before trying out M7: PWR Ride.

1. This class is literally for everyone.

Whether you are just embarking on your fitness journey or are a veteran gym goer looking to step up your fitness gains, M7: PWR Ride is the perfect fit. The bike provides a wonderful, non-impact way to check the cardio box off and the strength blocks are designed to be tailored to the level of every person who steps through the studio door. There is an option for everyone and the M7: PWR Ride Coaches help every person find their perfect level.

2. Time Will Fly By.

The key word to the M7: PWR Ride is ‘short intervals.’ In this class, members are on the bike for just about 10 minutes, then off the bike for 10 minutes. Repeat that cycle and class is done. Plus, with the short intervals, just when you start to get tired and motivation wanes, your Coach will switch it up. Before you know it, class is done, and 45 minutes will have never gone so fast.

3. You’ll Get Serious Health Gains.

Let’s talk about the “What’s in it for me?” part of the M7: PWR Ride. When strength and cardio intervals are alternated, it challenges the body to work harder to adapt to what it’s being asked to do. Think about it - one-minute you’re doing squats and the next minute they’re climbing up a hill on a bike. By alternating cardio and strength intervals, you’re going to burn more calories, increase overall performance and do it all in less than an hour. Win, win!
